Yo, peeps.

I haven't updated here in forever.  Honestly, I don't really frequent DA very much anymore.  Most times, you can find me on Furaffinity, Weasyl, Tumblr, or Twitter.  Under 'Mookyvet', as always. :)

Otherwise, you can check my website at

As far as updates on my life:

1) I've been working.  A lot.  I'm a manager now, which is cool but work does take up a lot of time.  Still: I like my job and I can (occasionally) find time to draw in my own spare time.  It's nice not having to worry about whether or not I'll have enough money to feed myself, much less pay bills, but I still haven't really gotten out of the mindset that I don't have enough money.  It's a weird sort of limbo.

2) I'm going to a few upcoming conventions: Fangcon in October and Furry Weekend Atlanta in the Spring (April, or something).  So, if any of you happen to be attending either, feel free to drop by and say hi.  I've been thinking about doing the whole artist alley thing at an anime con or two, but A) I don't do enough fanart of anime, B) I don't WANT to do anime fanart, C) I'd rather not do commissions of canon anime characters, and D) Some of them are way too big a hassle.  Seriously, submitting a portfiolio to be in an artist alley?  No thank you, I got enough of that in college and I neither have the time nor the patience for it.

3) Been watching a lot of youtube.  Namely, Many a True Nerd and the Zaibatsu.  BTW, I missed the best friends at MomoCon this year and I'm so bummed. Weeeeh.

4) I haven't been taking a lot of commissions, specifically because I've been very blah on drawing digitally lately.  I'm, on average, in front of a computer for about 8-10 hours each night for work.  By the time I get home, I don't want to stare at a computer for another however-many-hours-it-takes-to-finish-a-drawing.  So, I've been doing a lot of traditional art instead.  Plus, because I don't have a lot of ME time, that makes it hard for me to gauge when I have time to work on art for other people, not to mention figuring out when I have time to work on art for ME (which I haven't done very much of).  So, if I take commissions, they'll likely only be from conventions I attend, and there won't be many.  Maybe I'll start accepting them again online, but I've no clue when that will be.

Love you guys, as always!

I'm sure you've said it before somewhere, but do you still do commisions?

Oh, hey!  :(  Sorry, I haven't had open commission slots for a while now, and I'm not entirely sure when I"ll be opening regular commissions again.
